On 3.12.2010 in Ministry of Science and Higher Education there was a ceremony of granting medals and diplomas for inventions awarded at the 62-nd International Exhibition "Ideas, Inventions, New Products IENA" in Nurnberg and also congratulation letters of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.

At the Belgian and International Trade Fair for Technological Innovation Eureka! 2010 in Brussels, INS was awarded two medals for its inventions:

• Reactor for natural gas catalytic partial oxidation (authors: Andrzej Gołębiowski, Wacław Hennel, Waldemar Wróbel) – silver medal,
• Method of extraction of sweet red paprika using supercritical carbon dioxide (authors: Edward Rój, Agnieszka Dobrzyńska-Inger, Dorota Kostrzewa, Kazimierz Kozłowski) – silver medal.
