The 70th jubilee International Trade Fair “Ideas, Inventions, New Products iENA 2018” took place in Nuremberg from 1st to 4th November 2018. The New Chemical Syntheses Institute and Grupa Azoty S.A. were awarded a bronze medal for the invention: Promoted zinc catalyst for water gas shift reaction and the method of obtaining this catalyst (authors: Kowalik P., Antoniak-Jurak K., Próchniak W., Możeński C., Baran P.).

The iENA in Nuremberg is one of the most prominent events of that sort. Iran was this year’s partnership country and the event was held under the patronage of IFIA (International Federation of Inventors Associations). Through the years, the organizers managed to develop a strong and renowned trade mark, having caused the event being attended by specialists from various fields from all over the world. This year’s meeting gathered over 750 inventions from 28 different countries.

The honored invention also received a special distinction prize awarded by the Taiwan Prominent Inventor League.
