Researchers from Łukasiewicz Research Network – New Chemical Syntheses Institute have yet again been recognized at the XXIV Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies Archimedes 2021 which took place on March 23-25, 2021.

The following two inventions have been awarded their gold medals:

  • Catalyst for the selective NOx reduction using ammonia in particular, in tail gases emitted from nitric acid plants and the method of its production, the authors of which include: Monika Ruszak, Marek Inger, Marcin Wilk, Katarzyna Antoniak-Jurak, Jakub Rajewski, Magdalena Saramok, Paweł Kowalik
  • The method of dyeing of fabrics and polymer materials – developed along with the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants in Poznan. The authors from Łukasiewicz – INS include: Edward Rój, Marcin Konkol, Katarzyna Tyśkiewicz, Piotr Kamiński, Rafał Wiejak and from the IWNiRZ: Katarzyna Schmidt-Przewoźna, Małgorzata Zimniewska, Karolina Zajączek, Barbara Romanowska.

This year’s Archimedes exhibition presented 600 inventions originating from 18 different European, Asian and African countries, as well as Australia and 33 regions of the Russian Federation.
