Application

The catalysts series: G-0117, G-0117K, G-0217 and G-0221 are designed for primary steam reforming of natural gas in tubular reformers for the production processes of hydrogen or syngas for chemical syntheses (ammonia and methanol).
A wide range of offered catalysts enables us to recommend optimal configuration of loading for each individual plant in order to bring additional benefits to our customers.

 

Characteristics

The active component of G-0117, G-0117K, G-0217 and G-0221 series catalysts is nickel supported on porous ceramic carrier. High temperature treatment of the carrier results in high thermal stability and mechanical strength of the catalysts. A wide range of catalyst grain geometry is available to ensure high geometric surface area and uniform loading of the catalyst into reforming tubes.

 

G-0117 series

Standard primary steam reforming catalysts dedicated for light feedstocks such as natural gas.

G-0117K series

Alkali-promoted catalysts are used in the top part of the reforming tubes in combination with G 0117 to eliminate the risk of coking in the processing of higher hydrocarbons.

G-0217, G-0221 series

These new catalysts are based on a modified carrier. Its innovative formula does not involve alkali metals which decrease the catalytic activity. Thus, G 0217 series catalysts exhibit special and most required features of both high activity and resistance to coking. This ensures the catalyst performance with low H2O/C ratio with conventional natural gas as well as with other feedstocks containing higher hydrocarbons. G-0221 is used at the top part of reforming tubes for the feedstocks with a moderate content of higher hydrocarbons.

Autothermal/Secondary Steam Reforming
Catalysts: G-0110, G-0210 series

Application

The G-0110 and G-0210 series catalysts are designed for natural gas autothermal/secondary steam reforming air- and/or oxygen-fed to ensure high conversion of hydrocarbons to raw synthesis gas.

 

Characteristics

The active component of these catalysts is nickel supported on the specific ceramic carrier. High temperature treatment of the ceramic carrier results in high thermal stability and mechanical strength of the catalysts. The catalysts are manufactured in a form of 7-hole cylinders with convex ends (G-0110-7H/C, G-0210-7H/C, G-0210-7H/C/F).
