Catalysts: RANG-19, RANG 19(L), RANG-35 series
Application
The RANG and RANG-PR series catalysts are designed for a deep removal of carbon oxides from hydrogen and synthesis gases by conversion to methane. In ammonia plants, this process is the final stage of the purification of process gases from carbon oxides which decrease the activity of iron catalysts for ammonia synthesis.
Characteristics
The RANG (oxide form) and RANG-PR series (pre-reduced form) are nickel/alumina-based catalysts with nickel acting as an active component and alumina as a structural promoter. This composition provides good thermal stability of the catalyst active phase. These catalysts are manufactured in the form of balls.
Rang-19 – designed for standard applications
Rang-19(L) – designed for low temperature applications
Rang-35 – ensure higher activity at low temperatures, recommended for applications with high space velocities
