Delivery of small ‘turn-key’ plants for hydrogen production from multi-component gas mixtures such as ammonia synthesis gas or post-refinery gases. The plant consists of 4 adsorbers packed with layers of molecular sieves operating under PSA cycle and of vessels with hydrogen and tail gas. The tail gas is released during adsorber regeneration. The feeding gas at 15-30 bars of pressure flows through one of the four adsorbers filled entirely with molecular zeolite sieves, which adsorb all the gas mixture components except for hydrogen. The remaining adsorbers simultaneously go through the full regeneration cycle under lowered pressure and after another compression they are ready for reoperation. The plant operates under PSA, the structure of which is registered and controlled by an automatic controller. The complete PSA cycle, which the subsequent four adsorbers go through, lasts nominally 20 minutes each. The controlling system includes automatic registration and archiving of process parameters as well as the visualization of the technological process.
